The Peck's Lake Protective Association, (PLPA) Web Site exists to advance the mission and objectives of the Peck's Lake Protective Association. It shall be primarily a resource for the members of the Peck's Lake Protective Association and secondarily, it may serve the interests of non-member property owners and campers on Peck's Lake.
The Web Site shall not be used for profit by the PLPA.
Copyright of all material remains with the Webmaster and contributing authors.
Personal and PLPA Member owned business listings can be posted on the web site's Classified Ad Page. This includes homes, automobiles, and other personally owned items and business listings controlled by PLPA members. These may be listed at no cost. Items will be listed for thirty calendar days unless a shorted time is requested by the member to the Webmaster. Longer listings may be made if requested by the member to the Webmaster. Listings must be confirmed every thirty calendar days. Other advertising to be paid in accordance with the Advertising Cost Schedule as approved by the PLPA Board of Directors. PLPA members have precedence for advertising space.
The PLPA is concerned with protecting the privacy of visitors to PLPA.org. Therefore, we do not collect any information from our web site that can be tied to individual users. We may receive monthly reports from our Internet Service Provider, (ISP), detailing the pages of our site that visitors view and when they view them, (day of the month, day of the week), however, all of this information is aggregated data. The PLPA does not receive eMail addresses or any other information that can be tied to individual visitors to PLPA.org from the ISP.
The MEMBERS ONLY portion of the web site is reserved for members use only and shall member/password controlled. The password will be changed and members informed at least annually. Password changes to be announced via both newsletters and eMails.
This policy shall be posted on the PLPA web site. This policy was approved by the PLPA Board of Directors on June 01, 2002.
