Peck's Lake, an Adirondack Paradise, is unique with its tranquility, clean water, surrounding beauty and wildlife. Peck's Lake is a planned community of seasonal and year round residences. The zoning and water activity restrictions control the dwellings and use of the lake which results in a wonderful place to enjoy.
Peck's Lake is a short drive northwest of the city of Gloversville, New York, off Route 29A, located just within the southern boundary of the Adirondack Park in Fulton County - "The Gateway to the Adirondacks." Peck's Lake is conveniently located to the NYS Thruway from Exit 28, Fonda. For directions on how to reach Peck's Lake, we suggest visiting Yahoo's Map Page.
The clear waters of Peck's Lake, with a reputation for large Northern Pike, offer great opportunities for the sport fishermen. As a 1370 acre manmade lake, created from its original three bodies of water, the lake offers great fishery structure and habitat. In addition to Pike, the lake also hosts Rainbow; Chain Pickerel; Largemouth, Smallmouth and Rock Bass; Crappie; Yellow Perch; Bluegills; and Bullheads. Our annual, member-supported, fish stocking program ensures the continued productivity of the lake. Located on the lake, the Peck Brothers have a full service marina offering boat sales, service and rentals; cabin and camp site rentals; live bait; fuel and a snack bar. The marina also has a good boat launching ramp.
