The balance on hand is $4,225.73. A vote of thanks was given to Dick Cordovano for the complete financial statements and audit he performed for the PLPA Treasury.

BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE Harry and Mary Acheson attended the meeting in Bleecker and sent out questionnaires to determine interest in Bicentennial celebrations. As a result a boat parade was held on July 3rd and a very enjoyable picnic was held that afternoon at Sunrise Bay. Two members of the association, Jean Sleeper and Pat Reffue, displayed Arts and Crafts in the Bleecker celebration.

WATER SAFETY Waterskiing and boating safety have improved to the extent that a Water Safety Committee was not necessary.

ROAD COMMITTEE It was reported that the North Shore Road was in good condition, South Shore has a few pot holes.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE Esther Neal had interesting information as to the number of deer killed in New York State and the areas involved. She reported there are beavers in the bay areas of the lake. The bears are back and doing a lot of damage to garbage boxes. A large bear and small one have been spotted.

WATER LEVEL Indecision by Niagara Mohawk to drain the lake to repair the dam was the result of the short notice given to the property owners. Bernie Sleeper gave the list of owners to NiMo and they mailed out the notices to owners.

NEW BUSINESS

Bernie Sleeper thanked Hal Clark and Fred Roscher, outgoing Directors, for their work as Board members and Officers in organizing the PLPA and their continued support given to him during his term as President.

Bernie Sleeper was approached by Mr. Lucas, Town of Bleecker Supervisor, to recommend a Town assessor and Board of Review member to fill openings by retirement of Fred Lehner and Mr. Sitterly. The candidate must be a Town of Bleecker resident.

A suggestion was made by Jean Smith that our next list of Peck's Lake property owners include the wives names also.

Hal Clark made a motion that the bylaws be changed to eliminate the initiation fee of $10 and the pro-ratia fee on annual dues. A flat fee of $15 would be the new rule. Article 3, Para. 1 and Article 3, Para. 8 would be deleted from the bylaws. Fred Roscher seconded the motion, a show of hands approved.

Bernie Sleeper introduced the new president, Tom Aery.

A meeting place for a picnic for next year was to be looked into and information to be given out early in 1977.

A motion was made by Arlene Superko that the question of stocking the lake with fish in 1977 after the return of the water be looked into. It was seconded by Mr. Wagner, Bernie Sleeper and Les Haney were appointed to investigate into the survey of the lake before the stocking of the lake.

Tom Aery appointed the following for various committees: Road Committee; Fred Roscher (NS), Jean Smith (SS); Membership Committee; Mr. & Mrs. Bob Van Voast (NS), Mr. & Mrs. John Onufrak (SS).

Tom Aery stated that speed laws on South Shore Road are not being observed. Caution should be taken on both roads. A suggestion was made by Mr. Neal that extreme caution be used when using the cut off road when coming from the Caroga Lake direction, especially when traffic is heavy.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:20pm.

Respectfully Submitted,
Daisy Stresing, Secretary
