WATER QUALITY Brian Hogan stated the we have been accepted into the state funded water testing program through our membership in the Citizen's State Lake Assessment Program. A copy of their report was distributed showing that the pH level was extremely low, which is good. A suggestion was made for property owners to have their septic systems inspected and pumped out every two years. In 1993, along with water testing, a sample of weeds will be taken to determine what types they are. The study will also try to determine how nitrates get into the lake.

Last spring, Avery Hatchery stocked 150 smallmouth bass, and on October 10, Hinkley Hatchery will stock 500 five to seven inch smallmouth bass and 650 three inch crappies.

REVIEW OF EVENTS
Annual Dinner Nancy Brown reported 94 people attended this year. Dick Bickle was thanked for his fine job as Master of Ceremonies. Nancy suggested not having a disk jockey next year as only a few people stayed on to dance.

Boat Parade Brud Easterly reported that 15 boats entered this year. A suggestion was made to hold it earlier in the day as it now interferes with the dinner hour. Brud had a video of the parade if anyone is interested in borrowing it.
